Q. How does the system save energy?

A. The system saves energy by stopping energy being used when rooms are unoccupied. Heating or air conditioning is set back to a lower energy setting and electrical energy is removed from non essential lighting and power.


Q Can the user still set their own room temperature requirements?

A. Yes, the control interface will permit simple temperature adjustment.


Q. How long after the room is vacated does the room temperature set back?

A. The time is adjustable by the operator.


Q. Will the lights go out if I stop moving around the room?

A. No, the system doesn't use movement detectors, the lights will only go out if you leave the room.


Q. Will cleaning staff know when to clean a room?

A. Yes, a display panel indicates when a room is ready for cleaning.


Q. Will the system improve my operating efficiency?

A. Yes, the operator interface indicates the room status, occupied, empty, ready for cleaning, ready for new user etc and will provide detailed management reports on all aspects of your business.


Q. Will the system improve security?

A. The security of the room user is very important and the system will track and record people movement associated with each room and instances of fraudulent attempts to enter rooms and open windows etc.


Q. My staff and room users are from different countries and English is not their first language, will they understand the screens and panels?

A. Mach will display text and outputs in most languages as required.


Q. I already have a BMS and other management systems in my premises, do I have to change them?

A. No, Mach will integrate with most control and management systems.


Q. What happens if my guest or occupiers lose their cards?

A. The cards can be cancelled by the operators and a new one can issued immediately.


Q. Can the guest cards be used to purchase other products in my premises?

A. The cards can be used to suit other points of sale in your facility.


Q. What happens if a unit fails?

A. Most parts are easily changed and requires no special training.


Q. How easy is it to set the system up to suit my business and practices?

A. The user interface and management system is easy to use and can be configured to most building types and business operations.


Q. How soon will I see savings improvements?

A. Mach will start energy savings and operational improvements as soon as it is activated.


Q. Can I view the management system remotely?

A. Yes, the system can be viewed via most web browsers on a variety of interfaces.
