The Card Holder is an intelligent peripheral device for the MACH automation system. The guest inserts his/her card into the slot after entering the room. When the guest has just entered the room the card slot is illuminated. The flashing light prompts the guest to insert the card. The card is then fully authenticated. When the card passes autentification, power management and full comfort air conditioning or heating is allowed. An auxiliary digital interface is provided for connecting a push button or a switch (with optional LED status light). This can be used for controlling the welcome light at the room entrance or similar functions. |
